  1. NEED HELP, after reinstalling Windows, how do I clear my Cache?

Please Help with clearing cache after windows 10 reinstall

My pc has been experiencing multiple blue screens for a few days, and after trying just about everything I could do, u decided to reinstall windows from a usb with the installation media. Doing this, I thought that I would only lose the files and programs on my C drive, which I was prepare to re download; what I did not know, was that it would pretty much wipe my computer.

After rebooting my computer, I realized that all my previously installed programs and files had to be redownloaded, even in my D drive. This confused me, because I can see all the files in my D drive and my storage settings say that they are taking up space, but in order to launch anything, they have to be re-downloaded.

I talked to windows support, and from what I understand, all the files and programs installed were cache. Which I think means that they are not actually there or taking up space, but just cache. That is just what I was told by windows support, and I can in no way vouch for the validity of it.

I’m very lost and confused at this point, and would appreciate any help people can offer with a solution. Going through and deleting everything on my D drive seems risky and tedious if I do it manually. I will be extremely grateful for any support I receive, thank you!

  2. Clear the 'cache' in file explorer for already used picture tags?

If you set some tags for your *.jpg pictures, the windows 10 file explorer shows them in the "details pane" on the right side.
