Windows 10: need help finding activation key through windows?? windows 10 upgraded from windows 8.1

so im upgrading from a 6700k cpu+mobo to a 12600k+mobo, so i definitely will likely need to reactivate my windows key product...i originally bought an oem windows 8.1 from outlet pc... i do not recall where is that product key now, so im wondering is there any way i can find it inside windows 10???currently on the activation page, it says "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your microsoft account"i checked in my microsoft account and don't know where to find it as well lol...any help will be greatly appreciated...

Need help with Windows 8 key

Hi,
I need help with an Windows 8 key, I made an installation with the Windows 8 that went wrong after the activation, and when I was activate the key after a clean install I received a message that that key was already redeemed.
How can I get my key back?
I would like to move to new Windows 10 legitimately, with out piracy.

Any help or advice is very welcome.

Now that I have finally upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 will my Windows 8 key work with a fresh install of Windows 10?

You need to upgrade the first time around. Once you upgrade, you can use that key for a clean installation. I've done 2 clean installations with my Windows 7 key since I upgraded to 10 the first time around.
