Windows 10: Need help fixing Windows 10 0x80070005 error code

Hello, I've been attempting to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 10 Home. I purchased the license, however anytime I attempt to update I get the error code: 0x80070005.

I went to attempt to create a system restore point, and I get the same code. (0x80070005)

I've tried tons of things to fix this such as the following:

• 
  Using the CMD prompt with the following text: "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" Followed by "sfc /scannow"
  
  
• 
  Creating an Iso file with windows 10 on it and running that.
  
  
• 
  Looking at system restore(Not a thing because apparently my pc doesn't generate them).
  
  
• 
  Giving myself full control to the Packages folder in AppData/Local.
  
  
• 
  Attempted to use SubInACL and the following cmd in a .cmd file
  

"Set OSBIT=32

IF exist "%ProgramFiles(x86)%" set OSBIT=64

set RUNNINGDIR=%ProgramFiles%

IF %OSBIT% == 64 set RUNNINGDIR=%ProgramFiles(x86)%

subinacl /subkeyreg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing" /grant="nt service\trustedinstaller"=f"

• and tried created an Administrator user account (with elevated privileges) and tried installing the update while logged into that account.

All of the above have failed and I'm at my whit's end. Does anyone have any advice on this?
