  1. Need help getting rid of OneDrive

I have turned off OneDrive backup and unlinked my account from OneDrive. Now when I open File Explorer and double click Documents, File Explorer brings up 'Shortcut to Documents OneDrive-Personal'. How can I get the list of folders I used to get when I double clicked on Documents?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

Any way to get rid of OneDrive permanently?

Can OneDrive be effectively deleted? I have absolutely no need for it. There are never problems with it on my desktops since they all run Windows 10 Pro (it has Group Policy Editor). But my laptop has Home and OneDrive keeps inserting its obnoxious self no matter what steps I take to be rid of it. Every so-called "fix" I've found has been only temporary.

how do i get rid of onedrive. if i cant get rid of it. how can i disble it?

You can't get rid of your OneDrive - it's on the internet. Here is the URL: Your request has been blocked. This could be due to several reasons.

You can get rid of the OneDrive app that is installed on your computer. Tell us specifically what you want to do:

1- Do you want to disable the OneDrive, so that it doesn't do anything, and then maybe re-enable it later?

2- Do you want to disable the OneDrive app permanently, but leave the app on your computer so you can set it up the way you want it to be at a later date? There are considerably more steps to perform.

3- Do you want to uninstall the OneDrive app? This will take the most steps.
