  1. Need Help: How to Require Password After Sleep Mode in Windows?

Hey community. I feel like requiring a password after sleep mode should be a standard security feature for any operating system. But why can't I find a way to do this in Windows? If anyone can share information on how to set up the monitor to require a password upon waking from sleep mode, I'd be grateful. I feel a bit uneasy without this feature. Thanks!

    :)

  2. Password required after sleep mode.

My windows 10 now goes into sleep mode after 5 minutes and then asks for a password. This is not something I have set and it will not let me change it in power options or under accounts-sign in options were I get a message in red saying 'Authentication
is required when this PC wakes from sleep. Security policies on this PC are preventing you from changing this setting.'

I can not extend the period before it goes to sleep. I have followed several threads and they are suggest these two options, but how do I disable or edit these 'security policies'?

Advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
