Windows 10: Need help, I want to disable automatic driver updates

I have lost count of how many times I had to reinstall drivers because this f* operating system keeps reinstalling old drivers on top of new ones, is there any way to ONCE AND FOR ALL END THE F* automatic driver update? This is beyond frustrating. My OS is Windows 10 Home, my system is an Asus ROG Zephyrus GA502 with integrated AMD graphics and dedicated nvidia graphics. The AMD one is the one constantly getting nuked by the OS.

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

You can try to disable automatic updates starting from the point that automatic updates behave like any service. Follow these steps:

* Press the Windows + R key, type services.msc in the execution bar and press the Enter key.

* In the list of processes locate the Windows Update and open it by clicking on it.

* To disable it, in the General tab, look for the field "Type of start" and change it to "Disabled".

* Restart the PC and the automatic updates will have gone down in history.

If at any time you want to activate them again, simply follow these steps again and change the startup type to "Automatic".
