Windows 10: need help installing Acer firmware driver

After reinstalling Windows, I noticed that the Acer firmware or Inyside driver didn't show up in Windows update. When I go to device manager, it states the best driver has already been installed. I tried to install it manually but gave me the code 14 error. Have to revert back to the previous driver version. Can someone help me find the Acer firmware or Inyside driver I can install without getting the code 14 error?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Attempts to install the UEFI firmware through the Surface Installer and manually in the device manager have installed the driver but the firmware does not install upon restarting. After restarting twice, the driver reports that it is a different version than firmware on the device and stops presenting an option to restart.

Installing Surface Pro Firmware with WinPE on a USB drive also does not result in the UEFI firmware being installed, though another firmware update successfully applied via this process the first time the device rebooted from WinPE.

The driver can be rolled back to the version which matches the actual version of the firmware.

Searches on other forums suggest that when this occurs, that the device is defective and needs to be replaced by Microsoft.

Acer Aspire E380 (XP Pro installed)NO SOUND

Please help...Can't get sound

I just bought a used Acer Desktop(Model Aspire E 380). It did not come with an OS installed so I freshly installed XP Pro. I couldn't get on the internet and although I'm a noob, I know it must be a driver. I went out to their website loaded all the XP drivers. Now the internet worked but NO SOUND! I called Acer support but they would not help me because when I installed XP it voided out any warranty or support for this machine(originally manufactured with Vista). Their website for support is www.acerpanam.com I was hoping someone could walk me through step by step how to get this sound card working so I could get my sound to work.*Confused


FYI, I went to the device manager and here is where the ONLY yellow question marks are:

-? Other devices
? Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus

I think this may be the TV Card that came with the machine (I have not yet found the driver for it)

Everything else including sound, Video and Game Controller have + signs
