Windows 10: Need Help! JPEG images showing inverted colors negative when viewed in Photos app.

When I view my jpg images in the Photos app it shows its inverted colors inserted image. When I preview it online or even edit it, it shows the correct colors. I tried to find solutions using previous threads but to no avail. I've made sure my windows are up to date, I repaired and reset the Photos app. I even uninstall and install it photos app back again, but it does not solve the problem.

Testing the color choices in personalization, I selected the windows into inverted negative then I changed back to normal light colors but the websites are stuck in negative inverted and it's hard to see pictures...

Anyone know how to turn it back to light normal colors... please help!!!

yes I have rebooted, shutdown for few hours and start up, still stuck with the colors

Grrr! In some websites by Microsoft Edge browser no inverted/negative colors that show actual colors but in Chrome browser all (emails, websites and search results) look terrible!! Cannot read the copy/paste links in emails at all

I appreciated your prompt response and hope to continue to work until this drat issue be resolved

Would you please run the whole link to reach appropriate powershell to run the steps and cross fingers to hope that would fix the colors..... Never again to use the inverted colors in personalization!!!! It was fun but screwed up a lot of things behind
scenes!!! Grrrr!

I am sorry, your screenshot does not show the inverted colors you are referring to, can you please provide a screenshot of a window showing the inverted colors . . .

In the meantime:

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Ease of Access - High Contrast

Make sure no High Contrast theme is set

On the left, click Color Filters

Make sure no Color Filters are set

Click Home, then go to Personalization - Themes

Make sure the Default Windows Theme is set

On the left, click Colors

Set 'Choose your Color' to Custom

Set Windows Mode to Dark

Set App Mode to light or Dark

Close the Settings App
