Windows 10: need help my pc is laggy after chaning motherboard

I changed my motherboard from msi b450 gaming plus max to msi mag b550 tomahawk max Wi-Fi I have a Ryzen 7 5800x an ASUS 3070 ti and 32 gb ddr4 3800ghz ram. I have updated bios checked to make sure ram was working fine installed all drivers and clean installed windows now my pc is laggy on the desktop screen and especially while opening or downloading any app even settings. im not sure what else i can do or what the problem is especially after doing a clean windows install and updating all drivers and bios

I suggest you to try the troubleshooting steps listed in Troubleshoot
lags or freezes in Windows and check if it works.

graphics on my PC have been super laggy

Hi everyone, have been trying to follow this thread and have tried most things but now feel like I've exhausted most efforts..

Since updating to 19041.630 the graphics on my PC have been super laggy, I've tried to do a repair install from USB, have run SFC/DISM a million times but keep getting "Problem with BITS service... HELPMSG 2182.." in the troubleshooting.

Any suggestions from this initial bit of info.. my next step will be a clean install *Party

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
