Windows 10: Need help people who use lenovo z580 must hear news

I have a 10 year old laptop which is lenovo z580, i3, 1tb storage, I guess it's 2 gb ram, so sometimes I don't use it because it's so slow but I yesterday I tried to turn on but nothing happened I don't know why but I tried again and still nothing I thought it just an glitch or bug somthing but not even the power button symbol lighting up.. I don't know what to do but definitely it's been 10 years old so can I open the back and try to fix something?? I have enough ram to upgrade it windows 11 and I did upgrade

My Lenovo Z580 came with OEM installed Win 7 and intel processor.

As Microsoft stopped Win 7 updates, I am thinking of getting to win 10

I am hearing stories that say win 10 is not compatible with Lenovo Z580 Intel processor.

I did find the DIY 2020 tax software claims , it has issues with win 7 laptop install and it will not work
properly with win 7 .

How do I get win 10 for my Lenovo z580?
What are the options , I have ?

If you look on Lenovo Support you'll find the Z580 has drivers available up to Windows 8.1 (x64). Machines that can run W8 usually have no trouble running W10.

If you search eBay you'll find quite a few Z580s being supplied with Windows 10....

You should have no problems upgrading to Win10, but as a precaution it's a good idea to make a system image before you try upgrading. Use something like Macrium Reflect Free.

Lenovo z580 USB 3.0 Under Performing

Hi guys it's been a while since the last time i posted *Smile

Im having an issue with my laptop, i bought the Lenovo Ideapad z580 Core i7 3rd Gen with USB 3.0 but i just can't achieve the USB 3.0 performance it still performes with the USB 2.0 speeds does anyone here had the same issue or can help with it?

I have all the drivers properly installed and i will share a screenshot from my device manager.
