Windows 10: Need help re-registering my device

I accidentally de-registered my device and now it will not recognize my serial number to add it back on. How do i add my laptop back to my microsoft account? Its not listed as any of the options for choosing a device either, and as mentioned i've tried entering the serial number but it will not work. please help

Steps to do

• On your phone, go to SETTINGS
• Here, go to ABOUT - RESET
• When the comes back up, use your windows phone account that you use on windowsphone.com website. Your phone will be re-registered.

working as you’d like them to, use this troubleshooter. Please follow the steps below:

• On Cortana or search, type in Control Panel
• Type Troubleshooting in the search box on the upper right corner and hit enter.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
• Click on View all option on the upper left corner.
• Select the Hardware and Devices options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Once you're done, update us with the result.
