Windows 10: Need help Reading old formatted HDs on win 10

So I found a bunch of my old hard drives, going as far back as Windows 7. They are 2.5 and 3.5. I bought the Vantec kit which adapts every type of drive to usb 3.0. My problem is on the much older, hard drives, they definitely spin, but Windows never sees a hard drive. My guess is it might be a formatting issue? I don’t know whether they are FAT32 or NFTS? formats. Plus, I tried the jumper pins in every position: slave, master, et al. It worked on the newer hard drives. so I know the kit itself works.Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue? Is there a difference of software that

Cannot Format HD


Need to initialize it as GPT disk type with HD > 2TB:
From Admin command prompt:

1. diskpart
2. list disk =====> Take a note of disk # for the 4TB HD
3. select disk # ====> From step 2
4. clean
5. exit

Open Disk Management and initialize the disk as GPT, create simple then format.

 

Intel HD 2000 - Missing HD Audio Support Formats

I have a OptiPlex 390 with Intel HD 2000 connected via HDMI to a Denon X2200W. The "DENON-AVR" playback device uses a "High Definition Audio" controller which has a max. of 8 channels but does not list an HD audio formats in the "Supported Formats" tab's
"Encoded Formats" section. It has "DTS Audio", "Dolby Digital Plus", and "Dolby Digit" formats but no HD versions. As such, MPC-HC is not working for any HD audio (DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, etc.). I thought I read it supports these formats?

 

migrate Win 10 V 1607 From HD to SSD

ok I read a lot of things and it is not working on win 10 V-1607

so I need step by step help to complete this

first I got an Acer desktop with HD 1TB

with about 150 GB of data

and I just installed an SSD 240 GB

now I already formatted the SSD and get 223 GB free

also I already done a recover USB key 32 GB

my best bet now I guess is to do a clean install of win 10 to the SSD

I can transfer my data afterward

so do i need to erase the SSD and how ?

then do I need to disconnect the HD

then re start and go into the boot program with delete key ?

any help is appreciated
