Windows 10: Need help reformatting Windows recovery partition that wont detect new space!

After following instructions from KB5028997: Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update - Microsoft Support my new partition is the exact same size and wont use the new 500mb I've freed up for the recovery partition. So 530MB is the original size and I have 501MB more unallocated so 1031MB total but when I run: create partition primary id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac it reformates it to be the same 530MB it used to be...

Help with HP System Recovery partition

There werent any cd's supplied with the laptop when i bought it, thats the point of a recovery partition. There are som files on the partition, there only one file and one file, that takes up 168kb of space, yet the partition uses 8,3 gb.
After having read many forums about people who has done the same as me, several managed to boot into the recovery partition, its just that i wont work for me. Im wondering if its windows 7's fault.

 

Help accessing recovery partition

if he deleted the recovery partition, you wont be able to access it. You will have to reinstall Windows from dvd or cd.....

i am working on a computer that has a bad worm on it that needs to be reformatted without the original disks. It has a recovery partition. i hit f11 on startup to get the boot menu but there is no recovery partiton option.. any help????????????


Also it is a dell latitude d630 with vista business
