Windows 10: Need help restorign Sticky Notes - Help I've googled hasn't helped

Firstly, only one of my notes (my most important one) went blank, but then the whole app started behaving funny, refusing to load anything when I'd click on it.

I've followed advice to find the Sticky Notes files in my AppData folder, but it isn't there. Even typed in %AppData%\Microsoft\Sticky Notes and my system tells me the file doesn't exist.

Had one lead saying that on my current Windows 10, the file might've been moved, but followed that direction just led me to these, which I don't know how to open: https://i.imgur.com/o0ABocl.png

What could have happened? And could my files still be recoverable?

Sticky Note Missing

Hi KeithRawlings,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Let's see if with the following steps we can solve the problem:

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

2.- Follow the steps suggested by the Windows MVP in your article

Sticky Note Error?

Hi,

To further help you with your concern about the sticky note, we suggest using System File Checking in Windows 10. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Command Prompt (Admin)
• Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").
