    Need help to 'Verify' my Microsoft account before I can set up my external hard drive for...


    I am attempting to 'Add a Device', which is an attached hard drive, so that I can use the external hard drive for weekly backups. Before I can do this, the Microsoft page requires me to 'Verify' my Microsoft account because it currently doesn't display the 'Add a Device' link. When I attempt to do this, there is only 1 email address presented to me for verification. This email address is mine, but it's not the same email address that I use to login to my Microsoft account. When I try to verify using the email it wants me to use, I get a message stating 'Oops, something went wrong' and it
