Windows 10: Need Help Transferring Windows 10 Education Activation Key

Hello,I recently had to do a full system factory reset of my computer, which had a Virtual Machine and all files from Virtual Box. Doing so, I lost my Virtual Box files that I forgot about during the factory reset. I have the activation key, but I just cannot seem to activate it on another Virtual Machine because it says that I am currently using the activation key. Is there anyway I can retrieve it again?

Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

 

Windows 10 Education Key Activation limits

Hi, I recently acquired a Windows 10 Education key thanks to Microsoft Imagine Program, and I want to know if It's convenient to use it on my PC considering I'm planing to upgrade its motherboard soon (AFAIK some windows 10 keys won't be valid anymore if
the motherboard is upgraded).

I wonder if once a windows education key is activated on a PC and associated with it, if the key can be transferred to another computer in case of buying a new one, or when doing some major hardware upgrades like upgrading the motherboard.

And also, if this transfer is possible, how it will be done, should I communicate with Microsoft support by phone? and is my key guaranteed to work independently of how much I upgrade my PC?

Also I Want to know if, like other windows 10 Keys, education keys can be activated as many times as I want on the same computer.

Then you have no problem at all, that is a full licence provided to you, you can transfer Windows 10 Education to another PC

If you have any problem activating that on the other PC, have that product key at hand and contact Microsoft Support and ask them to help you re-activate your Windows 10 Education
