Windows 10: NEED HELP WITH BSOD bad system config info. Already tried internet help, still doesn't work

I have an asus x541u laptop. i3 7th gen if that is important.

THE PC doesn't BOOT. Automatic repair comes up with nothing.

System restore is also showing some error.

I tried bootrec commands, but still doesn't work.

Go back to previous version says I have to reset pc, reset isn't showing up as an option.

I have a usb recovery drive.

PLS HELP. HAVE SOME IMPORTANT FILES THAT AREN'T BACKED UP SO CAN'T WIPE.

I'm a very basic user so please help

BSOD bad System config

Hello all, need help here. Win10 64bit get bsod-"bad System config info".

Can't get to any save mode

Reset PC always fail after 50%

MBR respond with bcdedit /enum

Help please...

 

Bad system Config info help

I am running into the blue screen on my Windows 10 PC and the error stop code I get is: bad system Config info.

I have already tried to reset my PC, system restore and start up repair. My PC can’t boot into safe mode either when it tries I just get the blue screen again.

Hi John,

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Sadly, the fixes did not work, and I'm still getting "bad system config info."

MS support is still not honoring phone calls reserved in advance/promises to call back in a few minutes-- must say I'm disappointed.

Any further ideas?
