Hi, I'm asking here because I can't really find a solution to this problem.I've been having constant BSOD for months at this point with inconsistent reasons on the event viewer. I even reinstalled windows 10 and installed new drivers on every device, and it seemed to do the trick for a month and now it has started again.I activated "secure boot" on the bios since I saw in a forum thread that it may be the culprit, but the BSOD still happen.Lots of the errors I found are from the security center, or "read only" memory errors... most of the BSOD happen when watching youtube or a video.I have an:

Help Please, BSOD happening every day

Here are the results of the Memtest86:

XMP is off, and there is no overclocking.

The Lighting Service message has been happening for months, not just recent. If it keeps happening I will try uninstalling and reinstalling the Asus applications then, and see if that stops it.

All the steps you mentioned are complete, so I will let you know if I get any more BSOD and upload the compressed memory dump. I haven't had any BSOD events yet tho, so fingers crossed.

    Thanks

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Need help with BSOD happening for months, even after complete win10 reinstall :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE randomly after cold boot/sleep

For the past month I have been getting random BSOD's all with driver power state failure. They happen randomly, usually within the first 5-10 minutes of cold booting or waking my computer. Steps I have taken to attempt to fix the problem:
    1. Reinstalled GPU drivers/ tried old drivers
    2. Fresh installed Windows 1803, still happened, then fresh installed 1709
    3. Disabled Fast Boot
None of these things fixed the issue, any help would be much appreciated at pinpointing the issue. Thanks
