Windows 10: Need help with Dell 1320c printer software

Not sure if this the best forum for this but I am gonna try anyway.

I just got some new ink for my Dell 1320c, and now the print heads are out of alignment. I went here, but after the initial unzipping, the directions get horribly complicated. Specifically, there is no way to just directly install--I have to find and install the "System Center Operations Manager 2007/ SCE 2010" and go from there. Help! I feel like I'm way in over my head here. Is there a simpler way of doing this??

dell 1320c printer does not work on windows 10

I just got the 1320C to work with Windows 10.

I installed the 1320C using the Settings/ Add a printer and the driver installed was for a 1320c HBP. So I went to Control Panel / Devices and Printers / Right click on the printer and select Printer Properties / Advanced Tab / New driver and go down to
Dell Inc, there you will find the 1320C driver (not the HBP) and it works

Isn't the 1320c a Laser printer? Or did you replace the ink in a different inkjet model?

 

Yeah it's a laser printer, but it still needs ink.

How do I solve my problem?

 

Sorry, I don't know how to solve your problem. I see you have also posted on Dell community forum without any response.

All I can suggest is to have a look at some of the threads, posts and articles listed in this google search. Some folks have had success fixing their print head problems.

Download is 'live' - I just tested it...

 

Installation failed. *Sad "The minimum prerequisites for installation have not been met." These include:

-Windows Server 2003 ServicePack 1
-Microsoft SQL Server is required. Please see details
-In order to install Active Directory needs to be present.
etc.

Ugggghhh this is getting too complicated *Sad All I wanna do is fix my stupid print heads!

I bought a can of air spray, removed the black and yellow cartridges, sprayed everywhere, and reinserted the cartridges.

The printer seems to be working now.
