Windows 10: Need help with device backups in iTunes when \users is on D:

Ok, so I followed the tutorial here to move my \users directory to drive D (on a fresh install of Windows 10), and things seemed to be going fine until I started setting up iTunes. My iPhone backed up just fine, but when I tried to backup my iPad, it failed, telling me there wasn't enough space on my hard drive. (It's a brand new 1TB, so I know that's wrong.) I double-checked, and it looks like it's putting the backups in the right place (D:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup has two folders in it - one for each device?), so I don't know what could possibly be going wrong.

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance. This site has been a great help getting going with my new laptop (not my first Windows PC, but my first in a LONG time), so I'm hoping for good things.

Hi Dadditude. Welcome to the TenForums @Dadditude

Not sure if this will work but try powering down your iPad completely, not sleep, complete power down. restart, test.

If that doesn't work please ensure there are no corrupt backups already present, maybe one failed really quick.

Start iTunes=>Edit=>Preferences=>Devices=>iPad=>Delete Backup.

Tried turning the iPad off and back on, and checked for corrupted backups, but no luck. :-(

I did a quick search on the forums here and didn't find anything.

Yeah, I noticed the second link right after posting my reply, but none of it worked. Going to contact support later today and see what they can tell me. Will definitely post my fix once I get one.
