Need help with malware possibly from Facebook

My computer was attacked by malware. The computer runs Windows 10 it is not upgradable to Windows 11, and the primary anti-virus software is Microsoft Defender with Avast Free Anti-virus in passive mode. I always check for and download the latest updates. On 5/22, I was using Microsoft Edge to visit a few trusted websites. I’d open Edge, go to the website, log in and do what I needed to do, log out and close Edge, then repeat this process until I had visited all the websites. I decided to look at Facebook so I opened Edge and went to Facebook. I noticed that my Facebook dash

    getting rid of facebook emails

Already some years I get emails from Facebook in arabic script. I cannot read a word of it. I am not on Facebook, and have no idea why I am on a sending list. Till now they come automatically in my spam / delete folder, but I will get rid from the sending list, since I have no idea which messages they contain. Returning is not possible since it is indicated: no reply Since I cannot read them, I cannot find an "unsubscribe" if such possibility is available. Any suggestions what I can do?

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
