Windows 10: Need help with missing files in my recycle bin - is it because of OneDrive? PC

Hi! I had trouble deleting my files in my recycle bin because it kept coming back. At first I thought it was a virus, then I disabled my sync settings and uninstalled my onedrive in my PC. Suddenly the recycle bin became empty. the problem is i accidentally deleted some files now I can't find it. Would I still be able to retrieve my files? and where did the other files go?I already checked my recycle bin athttps://onedrive.live.com/?id=root&cid=0F8F41E0353C729F&qt=mrubut it's empty.I reinstalled my onedrive and enabled my sync settings in my pc, but the recycle bin is still empty.I hop

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Missing desktop icons and recycle bin

No problems on the current Windows 10 on three computers I have running dual screens. Desktop Icons only appear on the primary screen.

All icons including the Recycle Bin not showing. The Recycle Bin could be the cause.

There was a bug / glitch during the Insider Preview builds that would flash up a message saying the Recycle Bin was corrupted or missing.

It seems that the Recycle Bin attempts to build a list of recycled files on all the drives on the computer. If the recycled files id is out of sync, that caused the bin to fail.

Suggest:

Copy some files; then delete them; then reboot and see if the Recycle Bin appears.

 

OneDrive and Recycle bin

I am a bit confused on how OneDrive and deleted items work.

I've my desktop synched, and when I delete an item it goes to my Windows 10 Recycle bin (and also OneDrive Recycle bin).

If I log on to another PC, Would the recycle bin sync?

How about creating an item from OneDrive web portal and deleting it? Sometimes I see it in my desktop recycle bin and sometimes not.

Can anybody explain?
