    Need help with open support problem 1057639048


    Bought an SSD enclosure that has BOTH NVME and SATA controllers - uses Realtek RTL9120B-CG chip. Installed Crucial P3+ NVME 500GB drive in it. I run 2 partitions on my HP laptop; one is Windows 10 and the other is Win 11. I connected the drive to a type C USB port capable of 10GB data xfer and booted into the Win10 partition. Using the tool HWINFO I found that the drive was recognized as NVME. I ran an Acronis Backup to the drive and it ran at 10gb speed vs 5gb for my previous drive -WOW! Next I booted into the Win11 partition and ran a backup. There was no improvement in speed! HWINFO

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    I checked gigabyte's site on my GA-M57 and it didn't say anything about b3 stepping update, but all of the x3 chips are b3 steppings, so just use the x3 support bios if available.
