  1. Need help with windows randomly unmounting my second HDD

Yesterday I was using my computer when I noticed that I was missing a game on steam (I have it so it only shows the ones installed), found out that one of the appmanifest files was gone, I just shrug it off and created a new appmanifest, and restarted steam, later, all my games on that drive were gone.

And I couldn't get into the drive with the error message "the request failed due to a fatal device hardware" I thought that maybe it was just a problem with my SATA cable, so I turned off my computer, unplugged it and replugged it. Still having the issue, I decided to use the SMART test that the Western Digital application has to see how many bad sectors it had, It did not even started the test, it just gave me the error "Too many bad sectors" and crashed.

Chkdsk wasn't working, since it told me that the disk was RAW, (Fook*ng raw!)

Fortunately I had a windows instalation on that drive, so I rebooted my PC and booted that drive, all normal, even performed the same SMART test and got no problems, no bad sectors. Today I just gave up because after a while of trying numerous things the partition was just corrupted beyond recovery so I reformatted it and got it working. I have to note that for some reason windows just wasn't allowing me to reformat the drive, it was getting stuck at a certain percentage, so I had to boot up an USB with a Linux installation and format the drive on it, completed the process with no problems. That's also how I found out that the problem wasn't the drive. After a while, got it working properly, redownloaded all my games, spent the whole day recovering my files and then, it happened again, but it also got my PC on a weird state in which task manager would not open, I could not shut down nor close applications.

My secondary windows installation is gone, so I just booted up Linux again to check if it was corrupted again, and no, it was mounted and working fine. So I booted up windows, and now it detects the disk just fine. I don't know what could it be.

Edit forgot to add my specs:

    Windows 10 Pro 64Bits on a 1Tb Toshiba HDD.

    Intel Core I3-4150 3.5Ghz

    NvidiaGTX750Ti

    8Gb of RAM DDR3
