Windows 10: Need info on Enabling vt-x in windows server 2012 hosted in VMWARE

Hi All,I am trying to bring up Android virtual emulator AVD in Windows Server 2012. Windows server is a virtual machine hosted in VMWARE. I am able to install Android Virtual Emulator and supporting softwares in my windows server but while trying to creating Android Virtual Device, I am getting the below error "Your CPU does not support VT-x"Any expertise, who would be able to help on resolving this error !

Is windows 11 Home disable VT-x when WSL2 is enabled?

Yes, I understand that both Hyper-V and ESXi (on example) cannot run together

But, in linux, on example, I can check that CPU has enabled VMX when hypervisor kernel module is enabled (KVM, on example. I'm administering the server clusters with KVM hypervisor ).

In windows, these utilities does not show that VT-x Is enabled only when Hyper-V is enabled. But with disabled Hyper-V and enabled ESXi, on example (and running VMware VM) these utilities still show that VT-x is enabled

So, my question is about the VT-x with Hyper-V on Windows home edition. Does Hyper-V use VT-x for WSL2 VM running on windows 11 home edition?

 

VMWare Workstation - this host supports Intel VT-x

i have Ubuntu 64bit Boot disk , i configured everythihng in VMWare , created virtual machine ....
and when i power on the virtual machine , there is a black screen with VMWare Logo on it and loading then a error pops on with error :

I only updated BIOS driver ( i downloaded update from sony site )

How I Can Fix This ?

Intel VT-x Enable?


I need to enable Intel VT-x in order to run VMWare on my laptop. I cannot find where to enable it in my BIOS and I was wondering if there is any alternate way I can turn it on. I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad W540 and it is running on Windows 10.
