    Computer stopped detecting my HP scanner

    I have an HP computer running Windows 10. I also have an all in one HP OfficeJet model 3830. I have never had issues before and used all functions: copy, fax and scan. It will still copy and fax but stopped recognizing my scanner. Scan Doctor does nothing
    to help. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    For us to properly isolate the issue with connecting to scanner on you Windows 10, we would like to know the following:

    • Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the specific error message?
    • Are you able to photocopy or print any documents?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    As an initial troubleshooting, we suggest that you try updating your printer driver from the manufacturer's website.
