Windows 10: Need internet service help, badly!

Windows Version 20H2 Build 19042.985 For the first time, I decided to get internet service at home, but its been a nightmare to get it to work. No luck so far, which is why Im writing this with my laptop from a neighborhood park where they have public Wi-fi. So at least I know my computer works with Wi-Fi, but just not the one at home. The modem I was Fedexd by the service company is a Motorola Arris model TM822. I downloaded the instructions for it, and a weird thing about them is that when it mentions which computer OS is works with, Windows 2000 is the latest it mentions. However, the copyright date for the instructions is 2011. Not sure if that matters. Anyway, I supposedly got it activated. I called the phone number of the service provider and went through the activation process and saw the lights on my modem turn off and back on again confirming it. The power light and LAN light stays on while the DS light flashes. Theres an online light, but its always off. The Wi-fi unit has a slowly flashing red light. It seems to work. The signal shows up on my computer and lets me connect to it, but says,Connected, No Internet. As for wires, I have the cable connected from the modem to my home cable outlet, a yellow wire connecting from the yellow internet jack in the Wi-fi router to the corresponding yellow jack on the modem, and of course the electrical power plugs from each device to the electrical outlet. Thats as far as Ive gotten and I dont know what to do now. The service providers website has a chat feature, but its an automated one. Same goes for calling them on the phone. I end up just talking to a machine. Any ideas what to do next? This is the closest I can get to discussing this with actual humans. PS: I should also point out that when I log into my account with the Internet service provider (Spectrum) and go to "services", I find this message there: Internet Status Connection Status Unavailable (2) Were sorry, were unable to display your network connection status right now. If youre having issues, please troubleshoot device.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
