Windows 10: Need MS to send my digital license to my correct email so that I can install Win10 immediately

Dear MS, I have spent very long hours trying to contact you regarding the purchase of Win 10 yesterday, July 20th. I’m finding NO help at all. Today, I called the help number listed on my confirmation receipt that I printed after the purchase but only rec’d an automated msg that “support has moved to online...” There is NO support for my situation online, I cannot find an email to contact you guys. Here are the 1st five letters of my product key for Win 10 purchase: VKWND- It accepts all of the other characters accept for the “N”, whenever I type that letter I get a

Digital License by email

It means you have the wrong edition installed. You need to reinstall Windows 10 Home, since that is what you are licensed for.

The copy of Windows 10 you download and upgrade from will correspond with the edition of Windows you have installed, if it does not, this is why you might be experiencing problems activating:

When you upgraded from a previous version of Windows or receive a new computer preinstalled with Windows 10, what happened is the hardware (your PC) will get a digital entitlement, where a unique signature of the computer will be stored on Microsoft
Activation Servers. The Windows 7 or Windows 8 genuine license you were previously running will be exchanged for a diagnostics key.

Anytime you need to reinstall Windows 10 on that machine, just proceed to reinstall Windows 10. It will automatically reactivate.
You will prompted to enter a product key a couple times through the installation, click I don't have a key and Do this later.

There is no need to know or get a new key, but if you have issues with Digital Licensing or the Activation Troubleshooter, you can utilize an existing Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key
you already ownto reactivate if necessary. or use the reset function in Windows 10.

 

Closing MS account that I used for Win licensing - question about new

The Windows Settings Email and Accounts doesn't simply allow you to replace the account you are using for a digital license, which I need to do.

Issue here is that my Win 10 digital licenses on all my PCs are tied to an outlook.com email account that I haven't used since 2018. I just closed that account, but MS gives you a 60 day grace period so you can re-open the account, before it totally wipes the account.

So for my Win 10 digital is it safe to simply let the clock run on this outlook.com account and then "re-register" the digital license with my remaining live.com account. Or should I go through all the steps necessary to remove this outlook.com account now? From a web search, it's a whole bunch of steps.
