Windows 10: need music help; i made audio CD for car, but car only plays 1st track

i downloaded an album of songs from youtube, changed it to mp3, then used windows media player to burn an audio CD.

my car player only sees the first track. on my laptop the player plays all the songs.

(Music/Groove)Audio Bluetooth issues - WP10 (Long time ago...)

Bluetooth radio CAR means a cars audio system which has bluetooth option for playing tracks directly from phone. Even I am facing the same issue in my car's audio system. You could reproduce
the issue by trying to play any song via Bluetooth in any of the audio system. If you use Groove music then the track information will not be passed on to the audio system and only sound will be passed. So changing the tracks or viewing the albums in audio
system is not possible and it should be done with a phone. Whereas if you use XBOX music all the details will be passed to the audio system and there would be no need for the phone. I think this as a major feature loss. Please bring it back as soon as possible.

 

Burning A Disc in WMP

Prior to upgrading to Windows 10, I was able to burn music CDs in Windows Media File with full content information (Track number, Song Title, Artist) as a CD ROM. Since upgrading when I burn music only the track number appears during playback in my Car
CD Player ( Car CD player plays MPE/WMA/and standard CDs). It now burns as an Audio CD (CD-R) without any content information. It also alters the compression ration so I can't burn as many songs as before. I'm doing my best not to hate Windows 10 but this
particular side affect really has me upset. Any help would be appreciated.

the whole album is on track one !!

ugh, i guess the download or the youtube source does not split the songs so that i could skip to the next song. i see same on my laptop, it's all on just one track.

 

Did you copy the downloaded files to a USB Thumb drive then put them on the Notebook? It would verify if the songs were all in one file or if your CD burning program did it.

I use Windows Media Player [Yes, it works fine on Win10] to both Rip CDs to my computers, usually save as .mp3, then burn new discs as desired.
