  1. Need some advice on encrypting in Windows 10

TLDR: Can a PC with multiple HDDs and SSDs and 3 installations of Windows 10 be configured and encrypted so that the 3 instances of Windows 10 are totally unaware of each other and inaccessible either by myself or anyone else and only be accessible when booted into?

I've been working from my personal computer for a little over a year. This is unrelated to COVID, the work XPS-15 just wouldn't play ball. Constant issues with Thunderbolt meant I was losing at least 3 hours of productivity a week. My boss agreed that I could use my personal desktop PC as it was comparable specs wise, way more reliable, and I've no need to travel with work for the foreseeable future.

My boss has since become less favourable towards the arrangement. In recent months a client of ours had a data breach and whilst the private and independent firm which investigated found that the issues lay with our clients practices rather than ours my boss is, understandably, wanting to protect the companies interests.

I've have been given pretty broad scope to purchase equipment be it a laptop, pre-built desktop or even a DIY desktop. So long as I can assure him that I'm taking all reasonable precautions he's happy for me to make use the system for personal use.

Ideally I'd like to build a desktop, have 3 fast SSDs with 3 instances of Windows 10 (one on each) and 3 high capacity HDDs for storage for each instance. So if I boot into the work one all I want to be visible and accessible is the designated pair of SSD and HDD. If I log in to my personal one all I want to be visible and accessible is the designated pair of SSD and HDD for this one. Same with the 3rd, its going to be a stripped back installation of Windows 10 running the bare minimum (including a general lack of security, hence why I want to get this right).

Is there a way to encrypt all this so that they can't see or affect each other? Is the encryption tied to the shared hardware e.g. the motherboard? I can live with the drives being visible so long as they are totally inaccessible if that's an issue. I can compromise on the 3 instances that lacks security also but ideally I'd like to have it.

    Thanks!

Encryption advice for Windows 10 Home

Hi all. I'd like to add encryption to my laptop that has Windows 10 Home v1709. In doing some research, I found that this version doesn't allow for Microsoft's Device Encryption or BitLocker. Any suggestions? Much thanks.
