Windows 10: Need some help here

So im noticing some issues with performance in games and im really wondering if any of you can help me. So recently I updated windows 10 to whatever build its at now (I dont know what version but it was a recent uodate) and ever since then I've been having these weird issues with performance. After the update, about one day later, I go ahead and shut my machine off and when I hit the windows icon (bottom left of screen) the whole screen went black. It went black, wigged out and the screen returned to normal. I went ahead and shut my machine off anyway and when I did the display turned off as usual but the computer was still on. The hard drive wasn't running and you can tell no one was home but the power light was still on. So I went ahead and forced it to shut off and I went back into windows right after this incident. I checked through task manager and even did a quick virus scan and nothing was found. It seemed normall so I shut it down. A few days later I go in and everything is working as usual, the system is running fine but I notice Doom Eternal has this weird stuttering. It'll freeze every now and then and even freeze for a few seconds. I've never had this issues before and I was concerned. So I go ahead and use SFC /scannow (I belive thats the command) and I went ahead and found some files were corrupted and windows 10 fixed them. I even use DISM and even use the hard disk error scan to look for any issues. It found jack shit and im lost now. What is the problem? I've updated my nvidia drivers (Used an up to date DDU to make sure all old drivers were gone when I did this) scanned for viruses, and did the other things mentioned earlier in the post. Im confused and im hoping someone can help me out here. I've done everything in hopes to find errors and outside of that set of corrupted files/components getting fixed, nothing was wrong with windows or my hard drive. Im trying my best to fix this issue but god damn is it a bitch to deal with. Maybe Doom Eternals issues are just in a vacuum but its getting weird and it all seems to have happened after that windows update.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
