Windows 10: Need specific files I can't get a hold of due to syncing

I accidentally allowed onedrive to sync my entire computer. I have a lot of files on it, most of them are completely useless and has no need being on my onedrive, and it is taking up all of the wifi just to upload the files. By this happening it has moved some save files from a desktop app off of my computer and I am desperate to get them back. It won't let me move the files back on to my PC from onedrive, any time I try to attempt this, whether the files are syncing or paused, it shows me an Interupted Action window. It is only the items that are fully on the cloud that do this, and annoyingl

My iPhone can't sync the contacts to Mac

have you tried importing the contacts form the phone to google contacts then syncing then exporting them from there to a file on the computer then importing that into the address book
or you can also go through the info page in itunes for your phone and sync contacts from the phone to the computer that way by checking the box that says sync contact to then select address book

Microsoft Account not syncing WP8.1

Hi Michael,

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

Windows 10 search for a specific folder name and file name

Carlos: Thanks for your reply. What you suggest is what I have been doing. I search for folders with a specific name and get a list. Then I have to search each folder for a specific file. So it's a two step search and that's what I was trying to avoid.

I assume there are applications out there that allow for an "AND" search in Windows. I'll try that approach.
