Windows 10: Need specifically USB 2 or 3 mouse and keyboard drivers for Win7...its a weird one

So I was able to inject the Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit version USB 3.0 drivers and now I am able to boot up the USB Win7x64 installer from my USB 3 port and also the RGB on my keyboard now lights up as well as caps/scroll/num lock turns off and on when plugged into a different USB 3 port but I can't get my mouse or keyboard to accept any input from USB 2 or 3 ports... Installer just stuck at the first language select part. I was able to install Windows 7 with all the right USB 3 drivers on a different computer Gigabyte and Windows 7 boots up on the MSI computer that I'm trying to use it on bu

Keyboard and Mouse stops working after a specific duration

I understand that you are unable to use the mouse and keyboard after a specific duration. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you using wireless mouse and keyboard?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer, keyboard and mouse?
  
• Does the issue occur while using the computer or after waking the computer from sleep?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below:



Change Power Management settings:



If you are using a wireless mouse and keyboard, try changing the power management settings. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand, Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
   
3. Right click on Generic USB device and select
   Properties.
   
4. Navigate to Power Management tab, and uncheck the checkbox for
   Allow this computer to turn off the device to save power.
   
5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the remaining Generic USB device.
   

Run Power troubleshooter:



Try running the power troubleshooter and check if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows logo key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Update & Security, and select
   Troubleshoot from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll down, look for Power troubleshooter, click on it and select
   Run the troubleshooter.
   
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   

Disable USB selective suspend setting:



I would also suggest you to check the USB suspend setting and see if that makes a difference. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + R, to open
   Run dialog box.
   
2. Type control powercfg.cpl,,3 and click on
   OK.
   
3. Expand USB settings.
   
4. Under USB selective suspend setting select
   Disabled.
   
5. Click on OK.

WIN7 after boot no Keyboard no mouse and usb

Vostro 3560 after boot no Keyboard no mouse and usb

Hi - with a boot stick Win10 or Linux no issues with keyboard mouse or USB . After boot with Win7 I have non of them ,

I tried Safe Mode - Repair mode - different USB mouse and Keyboards - regback - rollback to older versions - new bios version.

No chance to get them running.

Any Idea?

• Are you getting any message when you connect the USB Keyboard and Mouse?

I suggest you to connect the USB Keyboard and Mouse to a different USB port and check if it works.

Also, plug your USB Keyboard and Mouse to a different system and check if it works.

I suggest you try below method and check if it helps.

Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your mouse.

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
