Need to boot into bios to get rid of virus, but can't

I downloaded something on my laptop and noticed some very obvious signs I'd gotten a virus, so I shut it down and got a windows installation on a USB to wipe it clean. Only problem is I can't seem to get into the BIOS when I start it, no keys to get in show when it's starting, and I've tried holding down F2, F11, F12, Home, Delete, anything really. I can't log in because it seems to have made another profile that needs my microsoft account name and password compared to just my pin which I had before, so I don't want to log in on either for safety's sake, but if there's no other way to get into

    :)

Getting rid of non-working boot devices in the BIOS

Finally, it took two steps to eliminate the duplicate boot entries in my case. But, it's important to note that I have separate disk drives for data, and two separate SSDs, one for each OS.
    1. Disconnected the two data drives, and installed a fresh copy of Linux Mint 19.1. (The fresh copy of Windows 10 was installed a week ago.) This erased all but two of the old boot entries. Both Linux grub, and the BIOS list of boot entries showed the same two dead entries.
    2. Booted into Windows and used Visual BCD from Visual BCD Editor - graphical bcdedit for Windows 7-10 which allows to edit the boot list, and I deleted them manually. Then, reconnected the data drives and now the boot list shows only the working boot entries

Windows stuck in automatic repair; Can't access BIOS/ boot menu

I've changed the boot order through both BIOS and the boot manager, as my original post stated. Neither did anything, but both were functional in the past. Neither listed the windows boot manager, either. Previously, it would boot just as expected whenever
other media was set as the first option, so I'm pretty sure there are no issues there.

As my original post suggested, I've already tried out the steps you gave. I've gone through all the options listed in the boot menu, UEFI or not.

My BIOS and boot menu settings were at their defaults when all of this started, so that's been tried already, if those are what you're referring to.
