Windows 10: Need to factory reset my laptop microphone soft pro surf

Have this Microsoft laptop to my grand child, but she prefers an apple laptop. Am trying to reset it to my daughter it keep asking for disk? I don’t have that. How can I reset it to factory. It shouldn’t be this hard

1. What is the reason you’re trying to reset your computer?
   
2. What is the complete error message appears when you trying to reset PC?
   

I suggest you to follow below mentioned Methods and see if that helps:

Method 1:
Turn Off the Microphone on your windows 10 Computer from Device manager.

1. Right Click on the Windows 10 Start Button and then click on
   Device Manager in the menu that appears.
   
2. On the Device Manager screen, click on the down arrow next to
   Audio inputs and outputs. You should be able to see your
   Microphone listed in the expanded list of Audio devices.
   
3. Audio inputs and Outputs Entry on Device Manager Screen in Windows 10.
   
4. Right-click on Microphone and then click on Disable in the contextual menu that appears.

5. You will see a pop-up, asking you to
   confirm that you do want to disable the Microphone on your Computer. Disable Microphone Pop-up in Windows 10.
   
6. Click on the “Yes” button to
   disable the Microphone on your Windows 10 computer.
   

Method 2: As you said you’re trying to reset your computer, follow the

article on resetting your PC.

Method 3: You may also refer Microsoft article on “How
reset you’re Windows PC”.

Factory Reset for Surface Pro 3

My first post, so be gentle!
Just got an oldish Surface Pro 3 and I would like to do a 'factory reset'

I'm trying to add an attachment




If I have uploaded the disk management image correctly, there seem to be more partitions than I was expecting!
Would anyone like to suggest what the previous owner(s) have done?
Also where (which partition) , and how would I go about a factory reset.

Please let me know if this post is in the wrong area and if I've broken any rules or conventions.

SURFACE PRO 3 RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULTS PROBLEM

The camera caused a system freeze every time it was activated so I thought why not restore.

• I attempted to reset my Surface Pro 3 to Factory defaults.
• The Surface Pro made it to 1% then crashed.
• Now it is in a reboot loop.

I have tried several times and now it gives an "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing" error.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make it work again?
