I know two-step authentication is now the thing. Recently, my Facebook account was hacked, and I was asked to reset my password. Next, Facebook asked for my six digit Authenication code. I don't ever recall setting such a code. I sent Facebook an email in fact several, but no response. Can you suggest how I can fix this. They asked for my Driver's license, and I sent them a copy, but that didn't work.* Moved from Community Center

Authenticator app problem with QR code for Facebook...

iPhone is an Apple Product.

And Facebook is nothing to do with Microsoft.

I suggest that you post to the Apple discussions or ask Facebook.

Go to
https://account.microsoft.com/

At the top choose Security and Privacy

Under Account Security choose More Security Settings

Scroll down for the following

Your account is protected by two-step verification.

• Turn off two-step verification
  

You've set up an authenticator app.
Learn more about identity verification apps.

Before you can set up an identity verification app, you need to add another phone number or alternate email address, or verify an existing one.

• Set up identity verification app
  
• Turn off existing apps

Choose Set Up identity verification app which will give you the barcode/secret code you need to get your authenticator app going.

Be sure to verify the pairing was successful by entering the code generated on the newly setup app.

FireFox Account Sign in Authentication Issue
