Windows 10: need to input product key when reinstalling Win. 11?

hi,I just have a question. I have being using Windows 10 home and then upgraded to Windows 11 home when it was available. I got the Windows 11 pro box yesterday. My Windows is licensed when I bought my device. Windows is activated, according to the Windows settings. I reinstalled Windows 11 to switch from the home to the pro version. I input the key when reinstalling not a digital license. My question is, if I need to reinstall Windows 11 in the future, do I need to input the key again?

Hello,
I have just received my brand new laptop Dell Vostro 7620 with Windows 11 Preinstalled. So I installed and activate Windows 11. Everything works just fine.

In fact, that several applications are preinstalled (McAafee, Office 365, One drive, Dell Apps ...) and of which I have no use, I intend to reinstall Windows 11 from scratch.
I would like to know, can I reinstall Win 11 Pro and activate it with that recovered key?
In that case, as the Product Key would be embedded in the UEFI Firmware chip, how to recover it for Win 11 Pro Reinstallation?

BTW, is there a utility to find the Product Key? I tested ShowKeyPlus, it doesn't help

Oh well, someone has to say it.

You don't need to find the key yourself. When you do a clean install Setup will read the key from the firmware.

 

Why was I not asked for a product key when upgrading to Win 10?

According to your spec you have Win 10 Pro, but perhaps that doesn't reflect your PC.

You haven't stated which edition of Win 10 you have on this machine, nor what your Win 10 key is for.

For example, if you already have Win 10 Pro and your key is Win 10 Home, that would be a retrograde step.
