Windows 10: Need to inquire if I need to unlink the Microsoft account before I proceed with the format

My name is Ashish Bhaskar Patwari. I am the Constructor & Owner of my Own written Blog, www.chaseinhumaneye.comI have purchased the Retail License of Windows 10 Pro. dated Dec 5,21. I have found some issues there with the Operating System installed on my Acer Aspire 5740 machine. There seems some critical errors and to get rid of the same , I need to reinstall the Operating System with above license.I need to ask, do I need to unlink my Microsoft account before I proceed with the format ? Unlink an old android phone from my pc

I go thru the suggested steps: Start - Settings - Phone - Unlink this PC.

When I first open the "your phone" screen the old phone is listed. Not sure if the phone listed is suppose to be selectable or not, but my is not. When I select "Unlink this PC" the phone listed is removed. When I select "Add Phone" the old phone still
shows. I have removed the old phone from my Microsoft Account. I have rebooted after unlink this pc but I still cannot remove my old phone.

Before we proceed we would like to make you aware that build in administrator is mainly used incase you are not able to access your other primary user accounts on your system. It is not advisable to use build-in administrator as a regular user account.

You can disable the build in administrator by following the below steps:

• Log out from build in administrator user account and Login to your primary administrator user account.
• Right click on the start menu and select Command prompt (admin).
• On the command line type: net user administrator /activate:no
  and hit Enter on your keyboard.

This will disable the build in administrator account.

Now to proceed with the troubleshooting steps related to unlinking the account, you can try by signing out from Store and then restart your system and check:

1. Open Microsoft Store through build in administrator account.

2. Click on the User profile icon placed before search box.

3. Click on your user name and select sign out.
