    Need to know what to ask for 2019 activation keys ONLY


    I am looking for a simple answer, but not sure how to ask the question so here goes. We have a server 2019 image that we load for our servers, our supplier CDW says they cannot sell us just the "product keys" and we now have to buy the disc and extract the key. I don't think that is correct, I am looking for the correct term or search item to look for that would be only product keys for server 2019. Is it CALs or something else?Part 2, Is there any way to purchase server 2022 activation keys and use them on 2019 and then upgrade to 2022 later with that same key?

    Problem Activating Office 2019

    You can save a few steps and do this

    1. Go to this page: Microsoft 365
    2. Log in with your Microsoft account
    3. Enter your Office product key
    4. Use the link given to download Office 2019
    5. install Office 2019
    I used this method for both of my copies of Office 2019

    BTW, Microsoft Toolkit 2.71 says this:
    Product Description: Office19_ProPlus2019MSDNR_Retail

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

    What is an "ACTIVATION KEY CARD" for Office 2013 ?

    ok MisterEd, My screenshot below shows what you directed me to.
