Windows 10: Need to reinstall Windows 10 with a digital license - not connected to an MS account -...

Hi,I have to wipe a laptop and reinstall Window 10 without reconnecting to the Internet till after the drive has been wiped.This is for a client who was phished, and because of some organisational sensitivities, I want to do this without connecting to the Internet at all before wiping the drive. The malware has not been identified and caused a lot of havoc, so we are playing it safeMy problem is that this person has a digital license it's a recent HP laptop, Windows 10 21H1 19043.1237 - but the license was not associated with a Microsoft account.Will I have a problem activating Windows 10

Reinstalling Windows 10 - how many digital licenses I have linked to my account

The digital license is a fingerprint of the hardware on which Windows 10 was installed.

As you have installed (and activated) Windows 10 on 3 PCs, Microsoft now holds
in its activation database three digital licenses for each of the computers
by their hardware.
Upon reinstalling Windows 10 on any of them, activation will be immediate
once Windows gets in touch with the Microsoft servers, no matter which account
was used to login, Microsoft account or local account.

There is no connection between your Microsoft account and digital licenses.
The most you can do is to go to
account.microsoft.com/devices
to see a list of all the devices associated with your Microsoft account.
