    Need to restart desktop to get internet working


    Hi, I am using Windows 11 and for the past few weeks my desktop internet doesn't work as soon as I turn it on. The wifi status says connected but when I want to browse something, there is no internet. Once I restart every works normally. I tried all kinds of stuff from resetting the router to flushign dns cache. Nothing seems to be working. Any idea what may be going on here?

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    Is it possible to share internet connection via remote desktop?

    RDP is not capable of Internet sharing, so you can't share Internet using RDP with standard applications. There are many way to share Internet from a Windows box to another one. I suggest you to use VPN. You should do following steps:

    1. Run VPN Server on your server with unlimited internet access
    2. Connect to VPN server from your limited computer

    Your suggestion does not work. It did work on Windows 7.
