  1. Need to save files after BSOD, but can't boot into Safe Mode

I am using Windows 11 and got BSOD. I am unable to boot into Safe Mode. I tried Dell Diagnostics and the hard drive passes all tests. The issue is that Windows 11 will not boot. I need to keep my files, while also restoring windows 11. I have a conference presentation stored on the desktop that is my only copy. I don't have a restore point, and I don't have a disc image to restore from. Is there a way to partition my hard drive, move the files to the new partition, then restore Windows, then move the files back?

    :)

  2. Safe mode problems

Perhaps some of the safe mode files are corrupted.

Disable auto restart on BSOD and see what error you get?

  3. Safe mode reset

    Hi Oliver,

It's possible that your device is set to boot in Safe Mode. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows key + R to open Run Dialog box.
    • Type msconfig and hit Enter.
    • Under General tab, choose Normal startup if it's not selected already.
    • Now, go to Boot tab, uncheck the Safe Boot
      option if it is checked.
    • Click OK to save the changes and restart the device to boot in Normal mode.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance, we'll be glad to help you.

    Thank you.

  4. Need to save files after BSOD, but can't boot into Safe Mode

Boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10

I am stuck in Safe Mode in spite of following all the suggested steps to go back to Normal Startup - Like opening file location of msconfig.exe & running as Administrator. The computer I am trying to get out of safe mode has just been updated from Windows 7.
