Discus and support need to uninstall old update that is affecting performance in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; recent updates have affected performance or not letting me access site i need,updates in question are: KB5048162 KB5046740these updates do not show up...     recent updates have affected performance or not letting me access site i need,updates in question are: KB5048162 KB5046740these updates do not show up in installs that can be uninstalled as they are too old. need a way to populate them so i can uninstall.

  2. uninstalling a very old update.

    I wanted to uninstall the very old update of windows 10 home on my pc. i am on latest one and needed to free up space. will i loose the performance? is it safe to uninstall the previous updates? i have upto three old updates installed on my pc and iam on
    latest update as of today.

    please help me in knowing the steps i need to consider while uninstalling the older updates and to stay on latest software.

  3. Windows 10 Update Adverse Affect

    Hi,

    I suggest you to try the below steps to check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    Please follow the steps to run System Maintenance troubleshooter on the computer:


    • Type “Control Panel” on the search box.

    • Click on Troubleshooting.

    • Click on View all option on the left side of the Windows.

    • Click on System Maintenance option.

    • Click on Next and follow the onscreen instructions to troubleshoot the issue.
    Check if it has improved the performance.

    I also suggest you to manually uninstall the unnecessary apps and check if it helps.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused need to uninstall old update that is affecting performance :confused:
