Windows 10: need to upgrade to atleast windows 10 - laptop is TOSHIBA Satellite C655D windows 7 Home...

I have a TOSHIBA Satellite C655D with Windows 7 Home premium.I am starting jobs working from home as a customer care support . I need min. Windows 10 to be able to interact with customers via video chat etc. Plus process any requests on real time completion. Is this possible?I can not afford a new or refurbished laptop or computer. Toshiba Satelitte C655 not upgradeable???


I upgraded to windows 10 using my Toshiba satellite c655d-s5133 AMD single core processor. It is working perfectly except for video play back issues. Many people are experiencing with you tube.

Designed for Windows 10
Built for Windows 10, the Satellite C Series includes Toshiba's TruTalk dual-array microphones to enable voice apps like Cortana and Skype, plus a dedicated Cortana key for easy access to Microsoft's personal digital assistant.

The laptops will initially ship with Windows 8.1 pre-installed and are eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available on July 29.

The Satellite C series features an all-new brushed resin black matte finish attractively styled with clean lines, a spacious raised tile TruType keyboard and a slim profile measuring less than one inch thin.

Reliable Performance in an Attainable Package
The Satellite C Series is available in 15.6-inch diagonal HD TruBrite display2 sizes that can also be configured with touchscreens as well as a 17.3-inch model, giving users all the space needed to work, play and navigate Windows. Powered by a trusted processor from Intel or AMD, these laptops deliver the performance needed to zoom through to-do lists and multitask with ease. Toshiba Adds Two New Stylish Windows 7 Laptops

Toshiba today introduces the Satellite L450 and the Satellite L555 laptops – a duo of new Satellite models aimed at consumers looking for affordability without compromising on style and performance.

Combining power and ease-of-use, both Satellite models are equipped with Toshiba LifeSpace software, a new application suite exclusively for Toshiba laptops featuring Windows 7. Designed to help consumers keep desktops free from clutter, Toshiba LifeSpace facilitates the organisation of tasks such as personal appointments, and reminders, making it easier for users to keep track of important dates and documents. A virtual and customisable ‘Bulletin Board’ enables users to create instant thumbnail shortcuts, keeping desktops organised and offering one-click access to important files and folders. ‘ReelTime’ also accelerates file searching by automatically adding a shortcut to the timeline of recently used files, which can list up to 5,000 items visually.







Both laptops also feature Toshiba Eco Utility, a Toshiba-developed software application that allows users to monitor how much energy their laptop is using. Users are given direct access to a power saving Eco Utility tool, which enables them to see the efficiency offered by Eco Utility in direct comparison to the standard power mode.
