Windows 10: need up todate driver for windows 19 hid touchscreen

hello, so far no one online has been able to resolve this on any other forum. i have an hp x2 tablet and the touchscreen down not work. installed driver is from 2006, this cannot be right. hp and ms update do not resolve this. hp seems to have locked its products from being updated by users outside their own updater which seems to me to be defective and they do not provide any single drivers on their websites. does anyone anywhere know where to get an up to date hid touchscreen driver newer than 2006?if possible i also need to know where the touchscreen driver lives on the hardrive, this infor

HID Touchscreen Driver

It was listed under HID until I did a reboot for Microsoft updates. Touchscreen works but not listed. No HID driver listed for my Dell Latitude.

Unfortunately , for the last several months all the suggestions listed I have tried. The realization is that the hid compliant touchscreen is not there anymore under the human interface devices or any where else. Which means there should be a driver
for firmware that actually downloads to someone's computer to get the touchscreen back. which is what is needed you. I followed the directions and the hid compliant touchscreen disappeared. My question is if there is software, firmware, driver or what
ever that can be directly sent to download to my computer to get hid compliant touchscreen back to the device manager.

No. Touchscreen works but where is driver located? It has always been under HID. Is it listed under another category or is it part of another driver?
