Windows 10: Needing to type ipconfig /flushdns every time to play games

So for the past 3-4 days now I've been experiencing a problem. You see when I want to launch either Lunar Client Lunar Client is a Minecraft client or Genshin Impact, the following errors are shown screenshot 1 is Lunar Client and screenshot 2 is Genshin. Valorant also has the same issue so it's not only happening in two games I don't have the screenshot sadly.Ever since it happened I already tried many things like:netsh int ip resetnetsh winsock resetnetsh advfirewall resetnetsh ipv4 resetnetsh ipv6 resetipconfig /releaseipconfig /renewipconfig /flushdnsSwitching DNS on the control pane

Grant permission for ipconfig /flushdns to user using least privilege

Anybody can type ipconfig or ipconfig /all

It only restricts /flushdns, registerdns, setclassid and I think release & renew.

 

File History does not backup automatically

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Open command prompt and type the following commands one by one and check if it helps.

• 
  ipconfig /all
  
• 
  ipconfig /Flushdns
  
• 
  ipconfig /release /all
  
• 
  quit

2. You are unable to run the game after downloading the game, is that correct?

3. Was the game downloaded successfully?

In order to identify if this is a network connection related issue, I would suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Type CMD in the search bar.

2. Right click on command prompt and run it as administrator.

3. At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem:

• 
  Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
  
• 
  Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
  
• 
  Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
  
• 
  Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
  
• 
  Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
