Windows 10: Needs to restart PC Windows 11 following update to print or receive scanned documents from...

My PC is running on Windows 11, and I noticed that after installing an update, I am unable to connect to the network printers both HP and Fuji Xerox - whether to send print jobs over or to receive scanned files from the printer. The only work around is to restart the PC and there will be a short window when all these can be done, thereafter the printers are displayed as offline again. I had tried restarting the printer spooler, as per the following steps, but it does not resolve the problem. -Press Windows key + X-Go to Settings-Click Update and Security-Click Troubleshooter then Additional

• What kind of contents and extensions do you want to print?

I suggest you to perform the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps:

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below to print documents in the Windows 10 Edge browser and check if it helps:

  Once the document is open in Edge, press
  Ctrl+P or More actions button at the top last end of the browser.

  Click Print as PDF button.
  
• 
  Check if the document prints as expected.
  

If the above steps did not work, try the next methods.

Method 2: Set your printer as default.

  Press Windows key and type
  Control Panel.

  Click on view by and select large icons.
  
• 
  Open Devices and printers.

  Right click on your printer and select set a default printer.

Cannot print document unless restart PC

I've done that step and have installed it using the driver from the official website but still experiencing the same thing. So every time the printer power off I have to restart the PC to be able to print documents but as long as the printer on, I can print document normally.

The issue might be caused if the drivers are not updated. So, I suggest you to follow the steps below to update the driver and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Print Queues.
• Right click on the driver and select Update driver software.
