Windows 10: .Net 3.1.32 keeps uninstalling weekly?

Hello,At our institution, we have a reporting service linked to backup software that also monitors used disk space. This service relies on .NET 3.1.32 to operate. Every week, at some time on Sunday, .NET 3.1.32 gets uninstalled on its own. I know that this version of .NET is no longer supported, however since it is required to run this reporting service, we have no choice but to continue using it. I have already reached out to the company of the software, and they are unable to provide additional assistance past telling us that .NET 3.1.32 is required. Is there any way to stop this from uninst

To address your concern, we suggest that you follow the following methods:

Method 1: Disable any security programs on your computer.

• Disable any security programs and try installing the .NET framework 3.5.

Note: Running the computer without firewall or the anti-virus software is a potential threat to the computer; make sure to enable the security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the
issue.

Method 2: Perform clean boot.

• Place your computer in clean boot and try installing service pack 1 and try try installing the .NET framework 3.5. . To perform clean boot, check this

Tried both of these and no luck unfortunately.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

Try the following steps:

• Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
• Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
• Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer
• Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
• Restart the computer.
