Windows 10: NET ERROR 2182--Nothing seems to work

I'm running Windows 11 W11 on a Dell laptop. When I try to play Microsoft Minesweeper's Treasure Hunt sub-game, I can't pick anything up. I've repaired, reset and reinstalled the app several times, but the problem won't go away. After running the Windows Store troubleshooter to no avail, I found an error message for "NET ERROR 2182", so I started digging into it. I looked at two previous answers: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-helpmsg-2182/a53ba735-703f-4c6e-8c26-d8d54a292656 which I couldn't follow because I could not access the "Application Data" folder
