Windows 10: .NET Framework 3.5 Not installing

How long has this installation been running? What I mean is, when did you upgrade from 8.1 to 10? The date.

 

PDragon please tell me when, the date, you upgraded to 10. Also, please download this file from MS. Make sure to pick the correct build (Home), the language, and the OS, 32bit or 64bit. It will be about 4GB. we can use it to fix things, including your .net issue. I'm gonna get a bite to eat, I'll be back...

Click on the link Tomcat gave you in msg 32 Tech Bench. Choose The right ISO from that link ....Home version, 32 or 64 bit, and the right language Download the iso ....and save it ...

 

Which one is the Home one?

Windows 10,
Windows 10 KN,
Windows 10 N,
or Windows 10 Single Language

 

Windows is going to ask you 3 or 4 questions ....choose Windows 10 1st. never mind the others

 

Okay. I already downloaded the ISO for 64 bit. Now what do I do with the ISO?

File name should be something like Win10_1511_1_English_x64

 

That is the exact name.

PDragon, I see you got the ISO downloaded, good! I still need to know WHEN you did the upgrade from 8.1 to 10... it's important. It may have a bearing on what we do next. The date. OK? Also, briefly tell me of any other funny weird stuff that may have happened, briefly. How about the Apps in Start Menu? They ok? Any crashes you can't explain? That sort of thing.

BEFORE you go tonight, please do one quick thing. At an ADMIN command prompt, type SYSTEMINFO and press enter. Look for the Original Install Date and tell me. OK???
